Luka Sulic-Czardas
In June 2015, renowned cellist Luka Sulic, best known as one half of the globally celebrated duo 2Cellos ( Luka and Hauser ), delivered a fiery and emotional performance of Czardas by Vittorio Monti. The arrangement, crafted by Valter Dešpalj, gave new life to this spirited Hungarian rhapsody, bringing the piece to the stage of the Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb, Croatia.
Accompanied by the Zagreb Soloists, Luka brought out every shade of Czardas—from its slow, lyrical intro to the dazzling fast-paced finale that makes it a favorite among virtuosos and audiences alike.
